First of all, congratulations on your recent birthday on June 5th 2019. How do you feel?
I feel loved and blessed Mehn..i had a great day with some of my closest people and it was a memorable one

Well , Growing Up was lots of fun. I went to Sunshine Group of Schools for my primary education. Ibadan grammar school for secondary. And TASUED

Yeah thanks. Nothing much to say. I’m Single
So.. About your new look, you recently cut off your dread.. What's behind the new cut??
Majorly the hairs been on for Like 3yrs now. I needed to treat it and let it grow again from Scratch. Among other things

Yea.. So When did you join the Entertainment industry Officially?.
I started music more than ten year ago. But professionally I started when I got signed. More than Five years ago today
Hmm.. That's a long time ago. How have you managed to stay out of scandals, like beefs, issues with record labels in about 5 years in d industry?.
It’s all love man. I just love my real life and watch ,Learn and let love lead. At the end of the day. We’re all outchea looking out for our daily bread.
I thought you are signed under Koga records? Or is it some sort of partnership?
Yeah I was. And we had a Wonderful time together. I was able to work with, Meet and perform on the same stage with the biggest in the industry The likes of CLARENCE Peters, Unlimited LA, 2Baba, Wizkid, WandeCoal. All thanks to Koga ENT. And much more
Hmm.. Wait a minute Zayo.. Do you mean you're no more under Koga ENT?
I mean my contract ended and I’m yet to renew. We still good anyway, Anyday.
Oh.. Okay. Koga ENT seemed to have influenced you a great
deal. What do they mean to you?
They're Family bro. They took me in and showed me a new world, Showed me the industry. I’ll be forever Grateful To God and the late CEO of KOGA ENT, Mr ChriS Jeyibo. May his Gentle soul RiP
That's lovely.. I can see you're really proud of them.. So ZAYO, Lately you have become so big. How are you feeling about that?
I just know that there’s growth. And I’m not where I used to be. And I thank God for that but I want more and More
You are one rapper who can rap excellently in English and Yoruba. If you are to stick to one, which would it be?
Well, I’ll prefer my mother’s tongue. Anyday. I love to express myself in my music the exact way I feel. It’s easier when you spit this
If I may ask, How do you get inspiration for your music?
Well sometimes it’s real life happening. Sometimes listening to beat. Sometimes they just carry am come

It actually happened to me. I soaked the wrong set o clothes with my white

And it occurred to me that it will sound funny to people if I can make a music with it. Normally I won’t wanna sing a song that says Malo Soak White Pelu Coloured because I’d feel people wont relate to it. But for the fact that it happened to me personally. I could relate and I feel many other people who have experienced it at one time or the other too can relate

What message are you trying to put out with this song? What’s d underlying, general theme That you think it has, and why that theme?

Well it’s a state of mind. One thing. Another thing is, Whatever you do and put in work for, You can only get better

We cool 😎.. Female fans are major for any artist.. Feels good when a Beautiful Lady that you’ve not met knows your song 🥰🥰

One of them Is the moment I was announced as the winner of Koga open house in December 2013 Which Got me signed under the label
So What are your dreams?
To Go global. For my music to travel round the world
Last question – What is your take on the notion that sex is needed to sell records in the industry?
Who says that?... There are female Artistes in the industry as well as Males.. Even male Artistes are more than Females..
