Wizkid’s First Baby Mama Shola Ogudu Survives Ghastly Car Accident

The First baby mama of Nigerian International music superstar, Wizkid, Shola Ogudu on Friday, January 8th, survived a ghastly car accident that has left her car completely written off.

Shola Ogudu, who is the mother of Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun, took to her Twitter handle to share images of her car bashed in an in a terrible state after the accident. 

The car windscreen was smashed to smithereens, with the car bumper and the boot area completely destroyed.

Though Shola didn’t share images of herself, we, however, don’t know how much the accident affected her physically. But taking a cue from her posts since after the accident we believe she’s in fine condition.

Details about where the accident happened or how it happened were not given in her social media post but she only shared the photos and captioned it with:

“Thank God for LIFE.”

Insecurity in This Country Will Soon be Over- President Buhari says

President Buhari has assured Nigerians that Boko Haram, abduction, banditry and all other forms of insecurity plaguing the country will end this year. 

The President stated this during the Juma’at prayer held in commemoration of the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Mosque, Abuja on Friday, January 8.

Represented by the Defence Minister, Rtd. Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi, President Buhari appealed to Nigerians to pray for the armed forces as they work towards ending all forms of insecurity in the country.

Nollywood Actor, Omogoriola Hassan "Skullboy" Crowned King of Uba Land, Imobi Kingdom

Omogoriola Hassan, a Nigerian actor and producer well known as SKULLBOY, has been crowned as the new king of Uba land, Imobi Kingdom.

Nigerian singer, David Adeleke popularly known by his stage name, Davido, recently left some fans stunned when he revealed that before becoming successful, he stayed at Mohits Record for days.

TRAGEDY! 24 Hours After His Sister’s Death, Actress Orisabunmi’s Brother, Coach Onishola Dies Too

Coach Steve Onishola, the Technical Director of Kwara Falcons Basketball Club of Ilorin, is dead. 

Onishola died barely 24 hours after his younger sister, Folake Aremu, a Nollywood actress, popularly called Orisabunmi, died at 60.

The State Chairman of the association, Dr. Joseph Adeyemo, confirmed the death in Ilorin on Thursday.

The late basketball coach was said to have passed on at 71 on Thursday in Illorin, following a brief illness.

The deceased was the Manager of Falcons on different occasions before he was appointed the club’s technical director.

He was part of the Falcons’ team that secured promotion for the club to the elite division in 2013.

He was also a member of the Silver-winning team at the 2018 edition of the Kwese Premier League.

Onishola was also among the first set to coach the club, which was founded between the late 1970s and 1980s.

He was a member of the Board of Kwara Basketball Association before his death.

“We are very sad by this unfortunate incident. In fact, we can’t find the right word to describe this moment.

“Coach Onishola was the symbol of basketball in Kwara, he was one of the most brilliant coaches of the game in Nigeria.

“The entire basketball family extends its deepest condolences to the deceased’s family and loved ones,” Adeyemo said.

Zlatan Ibile Blocked Me On WhatsApp And Instagram For 10 Months Now- DJ Cuppy Cries Out

DJ Cuppy, a Nigerian songstress, has opened up on her strained relationship with Zlatan Ibile, a singer.

In 2019, DJ Cuppy had enlisted Zlatan to record and shoot the video for ‘Gelato‘, a colourful hit song of hers.

Shortly after the collaborative track was released, ‘Gelato’ had scaled up to number 3 on the Apple Music chart.

But on Friday, the DJ, whose real name is Florence Otedola, took to her Twitter page to reveal that Zlatan had blocked her on WhatsApp and Instagram since after the collaboration.

The disc jockey also expressed her concern that it has been 10 months already and Zlatan is yet to give her reasons for it.

Dj Cuppy wrote;

“10 months later and I sometimes still wonder why @Zlatan_Ibile blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram without ever saying why; we were actually friends. And ‘Gelato’ was a hit!”.
