Man Died After Drinking Insecticide Because MMM Crashed

Adakole, the groom-to-be who drank insecticide last December after MMM froze users' accounts, has died from stomach complications resulting from the poison he took last year.

Adakole had reportedly invested N300,000 meant for his wedding into the Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox Ponzi scheme, however, only two weeks to his wedding, the scheme crashed, causing Adakole to make an attempt on his life.

Attempts to save him seemed successful until yesterday, Adakole succumbed to internal complications and died in Abuja. A family source revealed to Daily Post that Adakole passed away on Monday evening.
“Yes, he died this evening. His body has been deposited at the mortuary as we speak,” Adakole reportedly made efforts to reclaim his money after MMM resumed but he was not successful. “No, he was not paid.

In fact, he threatened to arrest his guider before the stomach upset returned last week and we rushed him to the hospital where he finally died. I don’t even think MMM is back, if not Adakole would have been the first they would consider. We attempted to reach them to recover Adakole’s money but they kept telling us to provide help to get help; obviously, the scheme has crashed, ” the family source said.

Adakole's family members and especially his fiance, Chenemi, are reportedly inconsolable. They had begun to hope that he would survive and a wedding date had been fixed for a later day before he passed on Monday.

Sad: 5 People Died in Plane Crash In Australian (Photo)

Five people have been reported dead after a small plane crashed into a shopping mall in Australia on Monday afternoon. Four of the people killed were United States citizens.

Emergency officials in Melbourne say engine failure brought down the Beechcraft King Air plane, which witnesses said caused a fireball to rise from the DFO Center, near Essendon Airport. Both the mall and airport were closed as officials conducted an investigation.

“At this stage, the advice we have is that there are no fatalities other than on the aircraft itself,” said Craig Lapsley, Victorian Fire Services Commissioner. Aside from some staff, the mall was empty and not yet open, officials said.

Witnesses said the plane appeared to be coming in low and fast before they saw an explosion at the mall, which the plane hit the back of, sending parts of the plane as far as the Tullamarine Freeway, on the opposite side of the shopping centre.

“[I thought] what the hell? That doesn’t happen every day,” said Michael Henry, who saw the crash. “It was crazy, like something from a movie".

The plane was piloted by its owner, Max Quartermain, who had four U.S. citizens on the flight heading to King Island in the Bass Strait off the southern coast of Australia. The U.S. citizens were not identified because officials are still in the process of contacting their families.

Tragedy: Father and Son Died in Head-on Collision

Jeffrey Morris Brasher and his son Austin Blaine Brasher of Bankston, Alabama, died early Saturday morning in the most devastating way. Jeffrey Morris Brasher, a 50-year-old independent bread distributor was heading in to work at 4:10 a.m. on Saturday morning. While his son, 22 year old Austin, was headed home after a night of partying with friends.

Jeffrey Brasher was driving a 2006 Ford pickup and his son was driving a 2004 Chevrolet truck when they collided on a highway head-on, Alabama State Trooper Jonathon Appling. Jeffrey, was killed instantly while his son, Austin, was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he fought for his life for nearly five hours before succumbing to his injuries, Police said.

According to relatives and friends of the Brashers, Saturday’s accident has left the tight-knit communities of Fayette and Bankston, Alabama, devastated.

“You really just cannot imagine it,” Pamela Brasher Dennis, Jeff’s sister and Austin’s aunt, tells PEOPLE. “There are no words that can be said. Everybody’s life changed on Saturday morning. No one’s life will be the same after this".

Investigators in Alabama say alcohol played a considerable role in Saturday’s horrific head-on crash. But relatives say Jeff was not a drinker.

“Austin did drink and was coming home from partying when they crashed,” says Monica Marie Aker, one of Austin’s cousins. “To know that they collided head-on is one of the hardest things to comprehend. Our whole community is just devastated by this".

Dennis says her brother Jeffrey and her nephew, Austin were very close. The two could often be seen together on the local golf course, trying to improve their handicaps. Jeff, she says, was known throughout the community for his volunteerism, serving as the public address announcer for the local middle school’s football games.

Aker described Jeff as “the kind of guy who, if you needed something, you’d go to him because he would help. He wanted to make you smile and his kids were his number one priority".

Austin, according to Aker, was known as “the life of the party".

“In high school, he was quiet, but everyone knew who he was,” Aker says. “He was the little guy driving the big truck. He was very well-liked and could really get along with anybody".

Aker says that part of her is relieved her cousin didn’t survive Saturday’s accident.

“My worst fear was that Austin would make it through and then kill himself because he wouldn’t have been able to deal with killing his father,” she explains. “It would have destroyed him".

Dennis says that a joint funeral is planned for this Wednesday afternoon. Wakes for the father and son will be held Tuesday evening, with large crowds expected for both. “We are just so blessed”.

“Yes, we are struggling but we have been covered in prayer. People from all over the country have been reaching out to express their support. It has really helped us as we try to make sense out of the senseless".

Sunderland Head Coach, David Moyes, Says The Team Are Struggling With Relegation Over Anichebe's Injury

Sunderland head coach, David Moyes, has revealed that Super Eagles striker Victor Anichebe's injury at Burnley on New Year's eve is the reason why his side is struggling to score goals, as Anichebe's build-up play was crucial to his side's verve in the attacking third.

Sunderland are bottom of the league now and have won once since Anichebe's injury and Moyes believes the club most go back to more swift counter attacking play.

"We may have to play a little bit on the counter-attack and play quite fast football. We spoke to the players about it and I think they understand," Moyes told Sunderland Echo.
We’re trying to get more balls in the box, more people in the box. It’s the only way we’re going to score goals. As well as, say, Adnan (Januzaj) or Fabio (Borini) and Jermain (Defoe), we’re trying to get some of the midfield players further up.
“Ndong got himself a goal [at Selhurst Park], albeit from outside the box. We’re having to really try and find a way.
“I think so [3-5-2 being a solution]. What I do think is it will change. It will change again because of what the opposition can do to you, maybe you’re chasing a game and you need to do it in a different way, you need to look at different things.
“But I think when we lost Victor (Anichebe), that was the key to it. We needed to keep looking for another way to get up the pitch, to have two forwards playing and not to be too exposed defensively. Because we had been making mistakes and conceding goals, I had to make sure we could shore it up a little bit as well".

Lady Thought She Was Pregnant, But You Will be Shocked With What She's Carrying

A young woman who thought she was pregnant has received the shock of her life after finding out what was really in her stomach.

20yrs old Alice Hall has revealed how she thought she was pregnant but was then told she actually had a cancer tumour and that she would have to give birth to the cancer.

Say what?

According to Metro UK, Alice Hall had been with her boyfriend, Christopher, for 9 months when she started feeling sick one morning last June and decided to do a pregnancy test.

The test came back positive and a doctor later confirmed that she was four weeks 'gone'.

Writing in a piece for The Sunday Mirror, Alice said that though her and Christopher were young, they were still thrilled and knew they’d step up and become good parents when the time came.

They even came up with possible names.

But just eight weeks in, Alice started bleeding so she was rushed to her doctors, who then referred her to Hereford County Hospital for a scan.

Medics told her she was having a miscarriage but surprisingly, a pregnancy test confirmed that she was still pregnant.

She explained: ‘My uterus thought there was a baby in there as my body was mimicking the symptoms of pregnancy'.

Alice returned the next day for more tests which revealed that she was indeed pregnant and doctors said she probably just had a miscarriage scare.

But a week later, the pain returned.

The 20 year old said: ‘They thought I was having an ectopic pregnancy, where the foetus grows inside the Fallopian tube instead of the womb, so I underwent a keyhole laparoscopy so doctors could have a look around inside'.

When they did though, they ruled out the possibility of her being pregnant almost immediately but did not know what the swelling in her womb was.

‘I felt relieved they didn’t think it was an ectopic pregnancy but was devastated to learn that I wasn’t pregnant any longer. It was so upsetting, my emotions had been everywhere and I cried for the baby I’d lost’, she said.

After a few more tests, doctors diagnosed her with gestational tropho-blastic neoplasia (GTN), which had caused a tumour to grow in the womb.

Two weeks later, Alice was taken for a chest X-ray and a full body MRI which showed there was a tumour the size of a foetus in her uterus and a biopsy confirmed that it was cancerous.

She was given eight sessions of a low-dose chemotherapy which stopped the tumour from growing but things got worse when she woke up in excruciating pain in September.
When she called her doctor, she was told that she was effectively in labour.

Alice said: ‘I was taken to Hereford County Hospital and told I’d have to give “birth” to the tumour, which weighed around one pound. It was really traumatic'.

After 30 hours, she managed to remove the tumour on the toilet. Doctors say she's doing fine.

Alice and Christopher plan to have a baby once she is fully recovered.

God is great.
