Tragedy: Man Unknowingly Cut His Neck and Die While Trying to Renovate His House (See Photos)

Suswan Ladee, 54, has been killed after he accidentally sliced through his own neck with an angle grinder saw as he fixed his house in Samut Prakan province, Thailand on the 28th of February.

The husband and father-of-one was reportedly standing on scaffolding to change wooden beams infested with termites when he reached up above him, but as he did, he slipped and dropped the saw he was working with and it fell directly to his neck, slicing through his throat, and down his chest.

Speaking on the tragic incident, Suswan's wife, Nong, 52, said;

“My husband was working with four other people, working all together to fix that house and get rid of the termites. I’d just gone into the kitchen to prepare lunch for everyone then heard the problem. The saw had hit him then he fell down from the scaffolding.”


Deputy Inspector Police Captain Weerapol Soodsaikaew, from Prapradaeng police station, said:

“Rescuers arrived at the house and found Mr. Ladee at the front of the house with a large cut in his neck down to his chest. Mr Ladee’s wife was with him and she was crying. We are speaking with her and the other people working on the home to investigate what happened.”

"Retirement Is An Option" - Tony Bellew

Tony Bellew says he is considering retirement following his surprise victory over bitter rival David Haye at London's O2 Arena on Saturday.

But the Liverpudlian, 34, admitted that an offer for one further fight could be too lucrative to turn down.

"I don't know how many times more I can put my body and family through this," Bellew told BBC Radio 5 live.

Asked whether the Haye bout would be his last, he added: "It's an option. It's something I'm thinking about."

Apostle Johnson Suleman Says He Didn’t Promise Marriage to Lady, But She’s Just Blackmailing Him

Apostle Johnson Suleman of Omega Fire Ministries has reacted to a trending story online about a lady, Stephanie Otobo, who allegedly claimed he slept with her and promised her marriage.

The pastor has distanced himself from the arrest and detention of Stephanie Otobo by the police last Friday, March 3, 2017 over alleged blackmail.

In a statement by his Communications Manager, Phrank Shaibu, the pastor said there's no amorous relationship between the said Stephanie and himself, including a promise to marry her.

According to Shaibu, the lady was allegedly arrested by operatives acting on a tip off that the she had repeatedly tried to blackmail Suleman, including demanding N500m from him, failing which she threatened to expose a purported amorous relationship between her and the Pastor.

A lawyer, Festus Keyamo, had allegedly demanded N500m on behalf of the lady and also accused Apostle Suleman of allegedly procuring policemen to intimidate and detain her unlawfully, having earlier promised to marry her.

Shaibu said Festus Keyamo was misled into believing that there was a relationship between Apostle Suleman and Stephanie, addding that the lady was “caught up by her own machinations as she was arrested while trying to withdraw money paid into her account by the Church in a sting operation coordinated by the police".

"Abuja Airport About To Be Close" - Nigeria Federal Government Says

The Federal Government has formally announced the closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, beginning from 12am Wednesday, 8th March, 2017.

The airport will be close for six weeks. This was announced by Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information, at a world press conference Monday in Abuja.

Also speaking, the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said the government has kept its promise to make Kaduna Airport ready for use as alternative.

Also, the Minister of State in charge of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, said observations made by acting President Yemi Osinbajo who was in Kaduna Airport on Friday had been “taken care of”.

So far, only one international airline has agreed to use Kaduna airport.
