Funny sarcasm..

14 year old physically challenged girl, Jamila Musa, pictured above, broke down in tears after she failed to get a wheel chair at a charity event organized by the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Saturday. The Youth members and their leaders had gone to her community in Kiyawa local government area to donate three wheel chairs. Unfortunately the wheelchairs got to three other people but not her. She began to weep when she realized she wasn't a beneficiary of the donation by the group.

Beyoncé had her Push-Through party and every member of her family was in attendance. Husband, Jay Z, Mum, Tina Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Solange, Michelle Williams and a host of others. The Push Through party was African themed, with African drummers, people dressed in African outfits, Fela's music blasting in one of the make shift huts etc. See other photos below..

Former Holland striker, Dirk Kuyt has announced his retirement from professional football after an amazing 19-year career that saw him play top class football for clubs in England and Turkey.

36-year-old Kuyt made the announcement after leading Feyenoord to their first Dutch Eredivisie title in 18 years. He'll now move into a role with the club’s technical management team.

Kuyt in an announcement on Feyenoord’s official website said, “throughout my career, I have always followed my heart when taking decisions and that goes for this one too. To me, this feels like the right time to retire. I have had two fantastic years here since returning to Feyenoord, with this season’s title as the absolute pinnacle. I had the dream of winning trophies and becoming a champion with Feyenoord. All my dreams have come true.”

Kuyt started his career at Utrecht, where he won the Dutch Cup before moving to Feyenoord in 2003. After being the top scorer in his first three seasons with the Rotterdam club, Kuyt moved to English Premier League giants Liverpool in 2006. He scored 71 goals in 285 appearances during his six seasons with the Reds, leading them to an English League Cup title in 2012.

Then he had a three-year spell with Fenerbahce, where he won the Turkish Super Lig, Turkish Cup, and Turkish Super Cup titles. He returned to Feyenoord in 2015 and won a second Dutch Cup winners medal before leading the club to the Dutch league title this season.

The burial of Nollywood actress, Moji Olaiya, earlier scheduled for Friday by 4pm in Canada, was aborted at the last minute by Ekiti state government.

The remains of the 42 year old lady who died of cardiac arrest following childbirth complications on Thursday, May 18, in Canada, will now be ferried to Nigeria for burial.

Insiders at the Magodo home of the actress revealed that the government of Ekiti volunteered to bankroll the shipment of the corpse to Nigeria.

Earlier, the family and her colleagues had agreed that Moji Olaiya should be buried in Canada as Islam enjoins (with deceased buried not later than the second day after death).

But the plans changed with the intervention of Ekiti state (where the actress is from).

Her eldest daughter, Adunola, 18, had insisted that her mother’s corpse should be brought back to Nigeria. But she was persuaded to allow the Canada funeral yesterday.

Moji Olaiya’s Abuja based husband and father of her two month old baby, who arrived Lagos two days back, also acceded to the Thursday burial.

But with Ekiti state intervention, the burial will now take place in Nigeria.
