Sad: Star Wars Actress, Carrie Fisher Is Dead

Actress Carrie Fisher’s death was caused by sleep apnea and other undetermined factors, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office revealed on Friday, according to multiple reports.

The coroner also said Fisher suffered from atherosclerotic heart disease and “drug use,” but no specifics were given. According to the Associated Press, the report stated Fisher had taken multiple drugs prior to her death.

“The manner of death has been ruled undetermined,” the report concluded.
In an exclusive statement to People, Fisher’s only child, Billie Lourd, addressed the report.

“My mom battled drug addiction and mental illness her entire life. She ultimately died of it. She was purposefully open in all of her work about the social stigmas surrounding these diseases.

“She talked about the shame that torments people and their families confronted by these diseases. I know my Mom, she’d want her death to encourage people to be open about their struggles. Seek help, fight for government funding for mental health programs. Shame and those social stigmas are the enemies of progress to solutions and ultimately a cure. Love you Momby.”

The actress, best known as Star Wars’ Princess Leia Organa, suffered a heart attack at the end of last year. She was flying from London to Los Angeles on Friday, Dec. 23, when she went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics removed her from the flight and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for a heart attack. She later died in the hospital, just one day before her mother, Debbie Reynolds, passed away.

Fisher had long been open about her struggle with bipolar disorder and substance abuse issues, starting at only age 13 when she began smoking marijuana.

She said she later dabbled in drugs like cocaine and LSD.

Important Lessons To Learn From Notorious Kidnapper, EVANS’ SAGA

Life always offers a window of repentance to an evil doer. But most of them do not recognise such opportunities and what comes afterwards usually spells doom for them. Evans was said to have had a brush with death in a particularly deadly operation, which decimated some of his group members. That experience should have sobered him up. The wasted lives of his colleagues should have taught him that it could have been him but NO…Evans went to regroup and even began to name his price in hard currency.

For every evil deed…the comeuppance is ‘sure’ to come. It’s a matter of time.

‘It’s mostly on borrowed time’...this is what I thought to myself as I looked through the pictures of his exotic interiors. Even the tooth brushes in Evans’ bathroom spelt ‘dollars’. Yet, the sad realisation is that the day he was captured is most likely his last time with such luxury. What then, is the point of it all?

Blood money’ comes with sleepless nights.
The extent he went with ‘security and precautionary measures’ doesn’t leave anyone in doubt that every ring of his door bell sends his heart to his mouth. If it costs your rest of mind…it is not worth it.

Evil minds are incapable of going down alone. Anybody who has the mind to inflict unimaginable ‘suffering’ on another can never spare you (no matter how close you are to them) - when push comes to shove.If they have to go down, you are coming along. Did Evans hesitate before ‘singing’ about the participation of his wife (yes the mother of his five children) in his ‘business’?

Every ruthless criminal is a coward at heart. Some of the pictures show that Evans actually peed on himself-when he was captured in his bedroom.

‘‘Evans the kidnapper’’ was the most ‘googled’ words (from this side of the world) when he was captured. But a lot of that curiosity is actually out of ‘awe’ by some people who couldn’t believe Evans’ ‘luck’ before now. And it shows that a lot of people (in this environment) have skewed orientation towards vain glory and wealth acquisition.

The ransom that Evans collected from some of his victims is enough to liquidate even a Dangote.

Most people are not worth your envy...there could be more to that ‘enviable’ lifestyle.

When your time is up…even life will help push you to your end. Think of the premonition that made Evans relocate his family to Ghana, the forces that brought him back and made him plan his proposed escape to South Africa only a day late.

Blood money/Ill gotten wealth? Their ‘vanishing’ can be the easiest. Evans had been amassing his ill gotten wealth for about a decade but it would take one fell swoop (in a matter of hours) for him to lose practically everything.

You have no right bringing any child that your name will become a STIGMA on- into this world. What you are giving to such a child is a ‘life time trauma.’

If Evans ends up going down alone. Life must go on for ‘wify’. Always think about this whenever an unreasonable spouse tries pushing you into doing ‘the questionable’.

If all that ingenuity, passion, hard work and dedication in doing evil (over that length of time) was channelled positively…Evans would probably be amongst the richest Nigerian youths today. For every effort expended on dishonest means…a better reward rests with the opposite.

Suspect a spouse who maintains no ties with any relatives…especially parents and siblings.

Every ‘bad person’ wants to repent when caught. Anyway, Evans can rot (sorry ‘repent’) in jail…there are ‘born-agains’ there too!

6 Amazing Lessons You Should Learn About Money

Here are tge 6 Things you should learn about money.

1). Learn How to Think about Money
Yes there is in fact a way to think about money. You must always have a plan for your money. Many people are either intimidated by money or are just plain afraid of it. You should try to understand your emotions and preconceived feelings about money. Think about how you feel about money; think about your ability to earn it. Think about ways to save your money and how to manage it wisely. Think positively and proactively about your money, this enhances your feeling of control over your money.

2). Learn How to Act on Your Thoughts about Money
It’s not enough to just envision the great things you intend to do with your money, you should learn to act on it and execute it. It’s not enough to just think about money or plan with it; you need to take action on it. Set goals for yourself and take guided action on it to achieve the desired results. Don’t be reckless with the execution of your ‘money plans’. Be wise, careful and meticulous. If you’re doubtful of how effective this is, give it a shot and see.

3). Learn How to Talk about Money
Money is such a sensitive topic in a wide range of settings; therefore you must learn how to talk about money to gain better control of your money and finances. You can’t run away from it, it simply must be done. Learning to regularly discuss about money helps ease things out and makes money matters become less of a taboo or a hot topic. There is an acronym called HALT, which you should consider during or when initiating financial conversations. Don’t have a money conversation with someone who is Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired. Every other time outside these four are fine; common sense will guide you through the rest.

4). Learn to Live Within Your Means
This speaks for itself. There is nothing more to be said on this point again. Live within your means. The key to financial success is learning to modify yourself to live either slightly or even below your means, never above. There are a lot of ways to live comfortably without spending every penny, but this fact eludes so many. You should look at your budget and spending habits as a kind of “project that needs monitoring and occasional adjustments” and be disciplined about it. Keep tabs on your spending and learn to hold yourself accountable, before someone else does in an extremely embarrassing way.

5). Learn How to Budget Better and Prioritize Your Spending
People wrongly equate budgeting with some form of self-sacrifice; however budgeting is simply being responsible with your money. It’s taking care of your money to be sure it’s in the best possible shape, just like you do with your body and health. Money is too important to be reckless with it, so you need to learn to budget and learn to budget well. Have a reasonable budget that responsibly (the key word is responsibly) caters to your necessary needs, and prioritize your expenses to help you spend wisely. Let your budget and goals match your spending priorities, this way you get to have better control over your money.

6). Learn to Save
Don’t just save for the sake of saving, save because you understand what saving is doing for you and your future financial goals. Also, be sure to never forgo your ‘rainy-day fund’ or ‘emergency savings’, because whether you like it or not there will always be a rainy day. Some banks can help with this, as they have flexible and reasonable saving schemes to prepare for these times. Also, insurance is another good way to save for rainy days or emergencies. Don’t think insurance and insurance companies are useless. That could very likely be a mistake on your part.

Tech: Indiana's Demand For Electronic Products To Rise To $400 Billion By Year 2020

The demand for electronic products in India is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 41 percent during 2017-20 to reach $400 billion by 2020, a study said yesterday (Monday).

According to a joint study by industry lobby Assocham and IT company NEC Technologies, the domestic production of electronic products which is currently growing at a CAGR of 27 percent may touch $104 billion, leaving a huge gap for import to the extent of $300 billion.

“India is becoming home to a growing middle-class population. Increasing disposable income has led to increased consumer demand for electronics products specially advanced TVs, mobile phones and computers. This surge is huge which shows a positive outlook for the industry,” the study said.

The study pointed out that domestic production needs to be addressed to meet the government’s vision of turning India into a manufacturing hub. “Demand for electronic products in India is poised for significant growth in the next few years, driven by a strong economic outlook. The Indian electronics and hardware market grew by 8.6 percent year-on-year to reach $75 billion in 2015, driven by rising local demand,” the study said.

The worldwide electronics industry was valued around $1.86 trillion in 2015. The electronics industry, valued at $1.75 trillion, is the largest and fastest growing industry in the world, said the study. The study said India’s total electronics hardware production 2014-15 was estimated at $32.46 billion, representing a share of about 1.5 percent in world electronic hardware production.

“The domestic consumption of electronic hardware in 2014-15 was $63.6 billion, of which 58 percent was fulfilled with imports. With demonetisation adding to the demand for POS (point-of-sale) devices and mobile phones, this demand is going to increase manifolds,” it added.

In addition, investments in electronic manufacturing rose exponentially to Rs 127,880 crore in 2016 from Rs 11,000 crore in June 2014, it said. “This is also due to the government’s efforts to create an enabling policy ecosystem in the sector bringing through initiatives like Make in India and Digital India and providing special focus to schemes like the modified special incentive package scheme (M-SIPS) and electronic development fund (EDF),” it said.

“The industry suggests the government to focus on both infrastructural as well as at the policy level, increased emphasis has to be provided for increasing the percentage of local component manufacturing in India,” it added.

Nigeria Football Officials Set To Hold Two Crisis Meetings; After Defeat to Bafana Bafana

Nigeria football officials will hold two crisis meetings this week following the Super Eagles' 2-0 defeat by South Africa in 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifying.

The Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation will meet with national coach Gernot Rohr on Tuesday morning and then with Nigeria Sports Minister Solomon Dalung later in the day.

Committee chairman Christopher Green said the issue of the World Cup qualifying matches against Cameroon in September will be top of the agenda.

"It was not the result we worked or prayed for, but the truth is we have only lost one of six matches in the series, and this wake-up call has come at the right time. It has also come when we still have the opportunity to rectify things and prepare harder for the remaining matches of the FIFA World Cup qualifying race," Green said.

"Losing to South Africa was never in our calculation, but it has happened. Someone once said that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Now, everyone, including the technical crew and the players, know that we must work harder than we have ever done, dig deeper than we have ever done and show the kind of commitment greater than we have ever shown in the two qualifying campaigns.

"Now, we have to focus squarely on the FIFA World Cup qualifiers because the race to the Cup of Nations will only resume in nine months' time. In two-and-a-half months, we have classical World Cup battles with Cameroon. That is the only issue on our minds at the moment."

The meeting with Dalung, however, will be focused on what went wrong against South Africa, including the reasons for the NFF's inability to clear their allocation of official match balls.

"This is a temporary setback which is surmountable. We need to sit with the Technical Committee and crew to find out the immediate and remote causes of this setback," Dalung said.

"We have very young talented players in the Super Eagles and we trust that with more hard work and determination, this result can be reversed when we go to South Africa.

"This is just the beginning of a long journey. The Super Eagles will definitely be in Cameroon because we can't afford to be absent at the Africa Cup of Nations for a third consecutive time.

"We must do all within our means to support the team when they win and when there's a setback. We will ensure that no stone is left unturned in our pursuit of a ticket to Cameroon."

"We Will Commence on Enforcement of Psychiatric Tests on Traffic Low Offenders" - FRSC Says

The Federal Road Safety Corps(FRSC) has said that it will commence enforcement of psychiatric tests on traffic law offenders in the country with effect from July 1, 2017.

The Corps Marshal , Dr Boboye Oyeyemi , stated this at the opening of a five - day training programme for 22 FRSC officials on traffic safety for non- motorised transportation in Abuja on Monday.

According to a statement by Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC Corps Public Education Officer, Oyeyemi said the test would focus on four areas of violations including use of phone while driving, traffic light and route violations as well as dangerous driving.

The move, according to him, was necessitated by continued violations in the identified four areas despite efforts by the corps to change the behaviour of motorists through education and enforcement.

Oyeyemi said, “We are worried about the continuous use of phone while driving, traffic light violations, route violations and dangerous driving.

“We have invited the commanding officers for a strategic session on Friday. We will give them full directives to resume the referral of all these classes of offenders to various government hospitals for check of their mental state.

“I think it is an act of irresponsibility for somebody to be driving and be using phone or for a traffic light to stop you and you are jumping the line.

“It means something is wrong with your mental faculty. So, there is need to examine this, to really check whether you are fit to drive, whether you have the mental capability.

“The offender will bear the cost. When they confirm that he is fit, then he will go for retraining programme and pay the fine.”

He argued that the purpose of the
mental examination for offenders was not to generate revenue but to engender attitudinal change.

“Fine is not the issue ; the issue is we need a positive attitudinal change of Nigeria. We cannot continue to be having fatal crashes due to traffic light violations, people jumping the traffic lights, I think it is crass irresponsibility, ” the Corps Marshal stated.

He stated that the FRSC was empowered by its enabling act to undertake the proposed psychiatric examination.

He added, “The Act (FRSC Establishment Act ) is very clear on this. You can challenge it. People have been challenging the act , and that is the beauty of democracy.

2017/2018 NECO Chemistry Practical Answers

NO1)
*Note:*
 Candidates are strongly advised to check which size of pipette was used by their school.

 We used 25cm³

If your school used 20cm³, all you need do is use it in place of 25cm³ anywhere we used it and calculate accordingly

NOTE; :ALL MAKE USE OF YOUR SCHOOL ENDS POINT*

Volume of Pipette used 25.0cm^3

Titration | Rough | First | Second | Third
Final burette reading (cm^3) | 22.50 | 45.10 | 32.65 | 27.60
Intial burette reading (cm^3) | 0.00 | 22.50 | 10.00 | 5.00
Volume of A used (cm^3) | 22.50 | 22.60 | 22.65 | 22.70

1a) Average volume of A = 22.60 + 22.65 + 22.70/3
= 22.65cm^3

1bi) GIVEN: CB = 0.10moldm^-3
VB = 25cm^3
CA = ?
VA = 22.65cm^3

Equation of reaction:

H2C2O4(aq) + 2NaOH(aq) ====> Na2C2O4(aq) + 2H2O(l)

hence, nA = 1
Nb = 2
Using CAVA /CBVB = nA/nB
CA = CBVBnA/VanB
=0.10 × 25 × 1/22.65 × 2
CA = 0.055 moldm^-3
Concentration of A in moldm^-3 = 0.055

1bii) Using:
gram concentration = molar concentration × molar mass

conc. Of A in gdm^-3 = 0.055 × [(1 × 2) + (12 × 2) + (16 × 4)]
= 0.055 × 90
= 4.95gdm^-3
