Mr money of The Money Team, Floyd Mayweather Jr, has splashed a whooping of $26 million cash to buy himself a luxurious six-bedroom mansion, located in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
This is coming after he splashed humps of money on his fans, crew and strippers of course, for his high payout victory against Conor McGregor.
The newly-acquired mansion boasts of a private 20-person cinema, separate guest house that has it’s own gym, and a cocktail bar.
According to reports, the Legend boxer spent a whooping £370,000 additional to furnish the home.
Other features of the two-storey property include a row of ten French doors that open from the living room to the grounds, landscaped gardens with black-and-white marble surrounds, with luxury sofas and an open burner to keep guests warm outside in the evenings.
Mayweather’s master bedroom boasts dual bathrooms and a private terrace looking down onto the pool area. There’s a Miele-equipped concession bar and plenty of room to park his fleet of luxury cars.

“You need to understand that people don’t talk about someone that is not known. When people talk about you, it means you are in the spotlight where everybody can see you. Some of the people who say hurtful things about you even want to be like you. Some of them are just craving for attention and that is why they say nasty things hoping to be noticed. But I have been in this industry for a while and I’m used to all their tricks. I don’t even pay attention to whatever is being said about me in the grapevine. If you criticise me constructively, I will listen to you, and learn if it’s beneficial. Otherwise, I keep my eyes on the prize and I keep winning,”

No One Can Deny I Brought New Vibes To The Nigeria Music Industry - Mr Eazi Claims
According to what Sunday Scoops had with him;
Mr Eazi, has been in the eye of the storm lately over some statements he has been making. During a recent radio interview, the singer had claimed that the practice of infusing Ghanaian sounds and slangs into Nigerian music was started by him. And that, other artistes in the country are now copying his ‘formula’ in order to have hit songs like him. Immediately the video recording of the interview surfaced on the Internet, Nigerians lambasted him for making false claims.
The dust had yet to settle down on that incident before the controversial singer also claimed that he rejected an oil and gas job that would have fetched him $6,000 per month in order to pursue his music career. Meanwhile, some Nigerians shared pictures of Mr Eazi’s LinkedIn page, which showed that the singer only worked as an intern at Schlumberger for six months in 2010.
However, in a chat with Sunday Scoop, the singer stood by his words. “The interview that caused this uproar was just me speaking my mind and saying things the way I see it from my perspective. It wasn’t meant to be an insult to any Nigerian artiste. You cannot deny that I brought a new vibe to the industry and I believe everybody can see that. Now, there are lots of Nigerian artistes who use Ghanaian words and melodies in their songs, but they’ve never been to Ghana. So how did they get to know about those words? There are a lot more songs out now that have that Ghanaian influence, and with all due respect, I can boldly say that started after my songs started gaining popularity.”
Asked to mention one artiste that has ‘copied’ his style, the dreadlocks-wearing singer said, “I don’t have to mention anybody’s name. I am sure that those who are discerning know what I’m talking about.”
Speaking on the $6,000 job he allegedly turned down for music, Mr Eazi said, “I turned down the job; I didn’t say I had started working there. I don’t think there is anything wrong with being an intern. I don’t have anything to gain by lying about such a thing. The truth remains that I was offered a job by Schlumberger, but I decided not to take it, but rather concentrated on my career. And that is a decision I’ve never regretted till date.”

The oldest person in the world who was the last living subject of Queen Victoria and worked for 'masters' on a Caribbean sugar plantation has died aged 117.
Violet Mosse Brown died in Jamaica at around 2.30pm yesterday.

Famous Nigerian singer, Simi shared her perspective about the romantic nature of Nigerian men, she made this clear in a recent interview.The singer said:

I think Nigerian men do not think they have to be romantic.I am not saying this to bash men but I think no one pushes Nigerian men to fight for anything so they have this sense of entitlement. I was watching a Nigerian movie one day and there was this unfaithful Nigerian man who left his wife for another woman.At the end of the day, the other woman left him and he retraced his steps to his initial wife. The lady’s mother actually told her to kneel in front of the man and that bothered me a lot even though I knew it was a movie. That is the way things are.A lot of men grow up in this country feeling entitled to certain things and they believe that they don’t have to work for anything. This has been the case for generations and a lot of our mothers were unhappy because the society expected them to stay in the relationship.I am not saying it is the right thing for people to leave their relationships but a man needs to fight for what he wants so he can value it. I think the problem is because a lot of Nigerian men feel self-entitled and I blame our culture and our mothers.Most mothers are the problem because when something happens, they are quick to advise the daughter and wives, they don’t tell the men that their actions are wrong. So if a man feels that he does not have to fight to keep the relationship, he would not.”

We Need Legal Backing Compelling Estate Owners For Building Of Libraries - Nigerian Librarians
The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of Librarians’ Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), Prof. Michael Afolabi, on Friday, disclosed that the council is proposing a law through the National Assembly that would mandate all Housing Estate owners with over 500 tenants to establish a library.
Besides, Afolabi said the Council is advocating for the establishment of libraries and information centres in all the 774 Local government areas in the country, and that it would engage relevant stakeholders to achieve its aims.
Afolabi spoke in Abeokuta at the opening of a five-day LRCN’s workshop on “Entrepreneurship in Librarianship in Nigeria.”
