The Governing Council of The Ibarapa Polytechnic Has Suspended the Rector of the institution, Mr Eyitayo Iyiola Rasheed, and some principal officers.
Though the official report have it that the rector Eyitayo Iyiola was on terminal leave, in which they never return.
According to reports, it was learnt that the school was shotdown by Students Over Course Accreditations issues
The Governing Council of The Ibarapa Polytechnic made is clear that the action was done as a result of the school and its management not finding positive solution to their predicament or non-recruitment for NYSC and rejection of students results because the institution provision of admission was fake according to the affected students and their department not accredited.
The school Rector, Eyitayo Iyiola and his suspended team have officially embark on the terminal leave, In which the deputy Rector Mr Peter Adejumo Oloyede takes over as Acting Rector, Mr Deolu Obagunle as Acting Registrar, and Mr Rauf Bello as Acting Bursar till further notice..

The Statement which was addressed to the suspended officers reads;
"There is no doubt that you are aware of the crises circulating on the issue of non accreditation of some courses being levelled against the school, the management of which you are a principal knows that some students who have graduated for some years but they could not be mobilised for the mandatory NYSC since their graduation.
You are also aware of other pertaining issues that actually requires processing by the governing council.
In view of the forgoing and pursuant to the directive of the governing council of the Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa after some consultation with the members and in consideration of the law and regulation enabling the governing council, you are hereby required to proceed on your accumulated cleave with immediate effect pending the time the issue on ground will be resolved.
You are directed to hand over to the Deputy Rector senior to you and you are to stop further withdrawal of funds unnecessary from all the school accounts by the current signatories.”
