Buhari’s message was contained in a statement issued by his spokesman, Femi Adesina, on Wednesday.
According to the statement, “the President equally condoles with the nuclear family of the deceased, the larger Fayose and Ladeji families, friends, relations and associates, urging them to take heart, since death is the ultimate end of all mortals.
“President Buhari prays that the soul of the departed will rest in peace.”
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in last Saturday’s governorship election, in Edo State, Pastor Ize-Iyamu, has called on Governor Godwin Obaseki to return to APC.
In a television broadcast last night, Ize-Iyamu said, “We are going to talk to everybody. We are going to bring everybody back. I want to salute my brother, the governor. I will like to appeal to him to return to the party. In every family, we have a disagreement.
“Let it not be said that it was this disagreement that pushed him out. I made that mistake before and I have come to realise that it was a grievous error and I will not want him as a senior brother to make the same mistake.
“I will like to appeal to him to set aside his anger and come back. In APC, he is recognised as a leader and it would be difficult for him to be recognised as a leader in the new party he is going to.
“Certainly, we are ready to work with him and all well-meaning Edo people. We believe it is time to bring peace back to Edo State.”
Obaseki polled 307,955 votes to defeat Ize-Iyamu, who secured 223,619 votes in Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
Oshiomole who was in a running battle with Governor Obaseki, worked hard for the governor to be removed from office and replaced with Pastor Ize-Iyamu. However, after the election, Obaseki was declared the winner of the election.
In a video, he shot while in his gym, Oshiomole stated that in life, you win some and lose some. He added that he is not in any way feeling down over the outcome of the election.
"You know in life, you work hard and leave God for the outcome. You do your best and trust God to bless your effort.
I feel good. I feel healthy. I thank God. I feel strong, I thank God.
In life, you win some and you lose some but life goes on.
I want to thank everybody. I am sure a lot of people think that Comrade must be down. When God says you are not down, you are not down and I am not down.”
Speaking further, he said
”I ask our people to have faith in our country. They cannot have another country. I have only one passport. I am not about to have any other passport. This is our country. We must make it great. We must strengthen democracy, we must improve on it.
No matter the outcome of an election, have faith in God and have faith in our country”

As earlier promised to conduct a world class beauty contest, PremPremMusic has rolled out the date of Audition for the contestants of Miss Ibarapa Beauty Contest.
PremPremMusic, in auspice with IMA representatives, concluded that Miss Beauty Contest registration will be ending on Wednesday, September 30th, 2020. Whilst the audition will be coming up on Saturday, October 3rd, 2020 at Heritage Resorts Igboora by 11am.
Auditioning is mandatory for the contestants to show if they are capable to be crowned.
PremPremMusic stressed that auditioning of the contestants became imperative in order to have to have a standard beauty contest as it is being done in both local and international pageantry.

A statement issued in Abuja on Sunday, September 20 by the Project Delivery Office stated that the portal which opens at 10 pm, will have educational institutions as the first category of beneficiaries to register.
The Survival Fund initiative is one of the ways in which the Buhari’s administration is helping Nigerians post COVID-19.
The statement noted:
“Nigerians interested in the Payroll Support scheme are to note that the site for registration will be open from 10 pm Monday, September 21, 2020.
“In order to ensure a seamless registration process, the Project Delivery Office (PDO) has designed a registration schedule.
“Registration for Payroll Support will start with educational
institutions on Monday and will be followed with businesses in the
hospitality industry on Friday, September 25 beginning from 12 A.M.
“The portal will also be open to other categories of small businesses from 12 A.M., on Monday, September 28, 2020.”
The office therefore advised those interested in benefiting from the
fund to take note of the schedule and also log on to www.survivalfund.ng
to register for the payroll support initiative.
The federal government had on Thursday, September 10 flagged-off two schemes to cushion the effects of COVID-19 and save over 100,000 small businesses in the country.
Minister of state, industry, trade and investment Ambassador Mariam Katagum, flagged-off the schemes after briefing journalists in Abuja. According to her, over 1.7 million Nigerians will be positively impacted by the schemes.
