Burna Boy’s “Floppy Disk” Tweet Appears To Be A Shade At Davido

Nigerian popular artist and self acclaimed African Giant Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known as Burna Boy in the music industry has taken to his Twitter page to mock Davido’s yet to be released album ”A Better Time”.

Burna Boy and Davido, just like Wizkid have not been in really good terms. Both artists have been throwing jabs at each other for some time now on their social media pages. Burna Boy has however taken to his page to jab Davido’s yet to be released album which he bragged about.

Recall that during the interview, Davido stated that Burna Boy has always been his friend but was disappointed when he threw a have at him on Snapchat calling the name of his father. Few hours after Davido had his interview, Burna Boy took to his Twitter page to tweet ”floppy disk”.

Six Abuja #EndSARS Protesters Granted Bail by Court

Six #EndSARS protesters who were arrested in front of the National Assembly complex, Abuja on November 6, were on Wednesday November 11 granted bail by a magistrate’s court in Wuse, Abuja.

The six protesters who were arraigned before the court shortly after they were arrested, have been identified as Oluwatosin Adeniyi, Paul Akinwumi, Davo Chomo, Abdulsalam Zuberu, Kabiru Gasali, and Yasiru Bashir.

The court which had earlier refused to grant protesters bail and also ordered that they be remanded in prison till January 2021, granted bail to each of the six defendants in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum after the defence counsel, Tope Akinyode filed a bail application.

The Presiding magistrate, Abdurazak Eneye who ordered that the sureties must deposit the N50,000 bail sum at the court registry, also ruled that the surety to be presented by each of the defendants must be Nigerian citizens with a verifiable means of identification and documents showing their means of livelihood which must be deposited at the court too.

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde Rejected Social Media Bill

The governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde has declared absolute nonparticipation in the impending Social Media Bill passed Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Governor made this declaration following a false media claim that the Southwest leaders are hands-on on the bill at regulating social media usage.

According to Seyi Makinde, there is no need for the social media bill since an already cyber unit exists in combatting social media-related offenses.

According to him on Twitter, he wrote;

“I also clarified the misrepresentation of the position of the Southwest leaders on the so-called social media bill. Contrary to media reports, our position remains that since we already have an extensive Cybercrime Act, 2015 we don’t need any other bills to regulate social media”.

Lekki Shooting: Lagos Judicial Panel Begins Review of CCTV Footgae From Lekki Tollgate (Videos)

The Lagos State Judicial Panel of Enquiry has begun the review of CCTV footage from the Lekki tollgate on Tuesday, October 20.

Military men stormed the tollgate where End SARS protesters had gathered and alllegedly fired gunshots at protesters gathered there. There have been conflicting reports on the number of casualties.

Recall that the Lekki Concession Company LCC submitted footage from the tollgate to the panel on Wednesday, November 4. The MD of the company however told the panel that the CCTV stopped recording at about 8pm on that same day.
The panel is currently viewing the CCTV footage from the early hours of October 20 and will watch till in the evening when the recording stopped.
